Ideas, mood board and mind map

*Currently leaning more towards a dynamic between a husband and wife rather than a father and son for the game story.

Game ideas

  • Main character Indiana Jones or another adventurer based off of his design.

  • Story starts off in the adventurers home town such as an old university town or a city, events take place that flings the character into conflict sending them into a new setting such as a jungle or desert. Desert would be a better setting as the idea of pharaohs and ancient egypt is a good start, perhaps the main character is looking for an ancient key to an ancient vault with treasures in the vault are 2 items one that the adventurer wants and one that the antagonist wants.

  • Perhaps the adventurer's father dies and he finds his father's notes detailing an artifact that could bring him back to life.

  • He would face conflict by reaching the destination only to find out nothing is there or the antagonist had been there before and he must now track them down.

  • He could use the artifact to bring his loved one back from the dead but it goes wrong and he has to face them and get over their death creating a closing where the death of the loved one is finally accepted.

  • Maybe after he finds the artifact or key some sort of ancient evil is released such as a mummy or aliens, perhaps a zombie or manifestation of the main characters fears such as accepting that his lost family member is dead and will never come back.
